About Pusan National University
- PNU was founded in 1946 as the first national university in Korea and has about 1,200 faculty members and over 35,000 students enrolled.
- PNU was ranked No. 1 among national universities in Korea due to its leadership in research and higher education.
- The university provides educational opportunities in almost all areas of study and supports the need for quality higher education in Korea's southeastern region.
- In an effort to further internationalize, the university recently tripled the number of courses provided in English across all disciplines, which has offered more than 1,500 International students from 80 countries who take courses at PNU annually.

About Pusan, South Korea

Academics
Students should meet with an advisor in the Center for Education Abroad & Away office to review course options. The credits earned at Pusan National University will most likely transfer back to MNSU.
NOTE: Pusan National University's academic calendar may not align with the Minnesota State Mankato academic calendar. Please
check the tern dates carefully so that you ensure your participation abroad does not overlap with Minnesota State Mankato semester dates.
Admission
- Sophomore status or above at MNSU
- GPA of 2.5 or above
- Students should first apply with the MNSU application online

MNSU students are housed in dormitories.
