Students interested in this program must first receive permission to participate from the program leader.
 
 This study tour will enhance your international experience and knowledge of technical communication.  As students of technical communication you want to be prepared for our borderless workplace. We will pack a lot into our 10-day trip to Karlsruhe, Germany, a center for high-tech industry and the location of one of Europe's best technical communication programs; classroom visits with technical commuication students at the University of Applied Sciences, Karlsruhe, Germany; and workplace visits to firms such as Siemens, SAP, John Deere, and Daimler where we will meet and speak with technical communicators on the job.
