Program Description:

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Fiji Program, located at the University of the South Pacific (USP), is designed to provide students with a unique living and learning experience.

USP is the premier institution of higher education in the Pacific Region and an international center of excellence for teaching, research and consulting on all aspects of Pacific life. USP comprises a vibrant and culturally diverse community of staff and students from its 12 Member Countries: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu, as well as from many other countries worldwide.

Program Eligibility:

  • A student must have completed at least one full-time semester of college at the time of application.
  • A student must have at least sophomore standing at the time of participation.
  • A student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale.
  • A student must be in good academic standing at the time of participation.
  • A student is not required to have a minimum language proficiencies for any program.
  • Programs are limited to degree-seeking undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at a US-based college or university.
