International Law and Politics:
The European Experience
May 8-17, 2020

Destinations: London, The Hague, Amsterdam, and Brussels

This course is designed to prepare you to be a global citizen.  You will experience four of Europe’s greatest cities while learning about the Global legal and political system up close and in person.  You will explore London, visit the Houses of Parliament, watch criminal proceedings in Britain’s highest criminal court, and meet with British attorneys.  You will then travel to The Netherlands to visit the Peace Palace and International Criminal Court in the Hague, and explore the Anne Frank House and streets of Amsterdam.  You will conclude your tour in Brussels, Belgium, home to NATO and the European Union.  Along the way, you will develop an awareness of different legal and political systems and learn about the foundations of the global legal system. 

Courses: BLAW 492 (3 credits) and MBA 696 (2 credits) 
Courses take place: Spring 2020 semester 
Course travel: Spring semester 
This program encourages students from any major and any amount of international travel experience!
