Students interested in this program must first receive permission to participate from the program leader. Please contact Jessica Jones at jessica.jones@mnsu.edu with your interest to the program.
 

Graduate students in Communications Disorders will administer speech/language screenings and evaluations to school-aged children in the country of Belize allowing them the opportunity to compare and contrast the provision of school speech-language pathology services in Belize with that in the United States.  Cultural responsiveness in the provision of school speech-language pathology assessment will be emphasized.

Audiology students will perform audiometric evaluations, electroacoustic measurements, and provide follow up recommendations to the preschool and school aged children enrolled in the educational system in Belize.
